Getting Ready

I have been a busy busy person around here the past week or so, trying to prepare myself for the start of my class. This means getting my house ready as well. Because I won't have as much time as I normally do to dedicate to doing my housework, I've been going on a crazy cleaning kick. Washing curtains, painting rooms, things of that sort. That also means no more of this:



At the same time though, I am looking forward to him going to daycare and starting to get the socialization that he needs. For now though, I am going to snuggle into my bed and watch some House

So, my new journey begins....

I have been accepted into my CNA course at Orono Commons. Now this course will go Monday through Friday, from 9-3. That's a long day in my opinion. My regular college courses didn't even go that long.

Now, the issue with this is my baby boy. He will obviously have to go into daycare and well....he's kind of a mama's boy. How's he going to hold up in daycare? Well, I'm not sure. I imagine at first, he won't be easy to live with, but I imagine he will eventually get use to it. And hey, these daycare workers are suppose to be trained to handle this kind of thing right? Then again, where there will be lots of kids his own age to play with, he maybe ok.

Did some scrapbooking today, but not just scrapping for fun. Scrapping because my friend is leaving in 10 days for North Carolina and will be down there for at least a while, so I've been helping my other friend Jessi with some scrapping.

Done some laundry, plenty of dishes and a little bit of shopping today. I think that's all I have for now....

So, I got more organizing done today. I organized my pots and pan cupboard and also my tupperware cupboard. I use to not bother because Jason would just get into them and wreck them. However, we now have a good gate that keeps him in the living room so he no longer has access to the cupboards. So, I organized them.

And did some more laundry. Visited with my friend Kim today. Got rid of two and a half garbage bags of Summer's clothes that no longer fit her. Still working on cleaning out the junk from my house, but it never seems to end!!!!!!

Not much else to say or going on. Summer's birthday party is Saturday and then on Sunday we are having a family dinner down at my Mammie's. =] Going to be a busy weekend and I'm looking forward to it.

Getting Stuff Done

Just another day in the Davis household. I've been working on getting things done and taking care of things. Trying to organize and whatnot.

On my agenda today was my interview for my CNA course. I think it went pretty well, except for the shocker they gave me about the class hours. I thought I was told it was only Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-8 at night; well no. The classes are Monday through Friday from 9-3 for about a month and a half. If it wasn't for Jason, this would not be an issue at all. However, I have no child care lined up for him and truth be told, he doesn't do so hot with other people. He's kind of a mama's boy. I guess though that daycare workers should be trained to handle this sort of thing, right?
So, I find out Monday if I have been accepted or not to the class. If I'm not accepted to this one, I should get first dibs on a spot in the class in March. Hopefully, I'll just get into this one though.

After my interview, I did some grocery shopping. Fun stuff =] I will admit that I took a nap while Jason did, but after that I have been working on laundry and just trying to sort through things and throw out junk I don't need.

Oh I've been horrible...

At keeping up with this thing, so bear with me while I try to get back on track. The kids had a good time in New York and got all kinds of goodies...

I finally scrapbooked for the first time in....well, many months last night and it was nice and relaxing. They were just very simple layouts and they were mostly Jason as I was working on his book. I printed off some more pictures tonight so that I can do some more scrapbooking...maybe tonight.

Ummm...there actually isn't a whole lot going on around here right now, but I thought I would check in and let everyone know I was still alive ;)
