Some days you just don't feel like being seen
So I was minding my own business on the internet when I heard Jason giggle on the floor...this is what I saw when I looked over...

Speaking Words Of Wisdom...
I Believe
> I believe - That just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do.
> I believe - That we don’t have to change friends if we understand that
friends change.
> I believe - That no matter how good a friend is, they’re going to hurt
you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
> I believe - That true friendship continues to grow, even over the
longest distance. Same goes for true love.
> I believe - That you can do something in an instant that will give you
heartache for life.
> I believe - That it’s taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
> I believe - That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
> I believe - That you can keep going long after you think you can’t.
> I believe - That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we
feel.
> I believe - That either you control your attitude or it controls you.
> I believe - That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
> I believe - That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when
you’re down will be the ones to help you get back up.
> I believe - That sometimes when I’m angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn’t give me the right to be cruel.
> I believe - That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.
> I believe - That it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
> I believe - That no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world
doesn’t stop for your grief.
> I believe - That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
> I believe - Two people can look at the exact same thing and see
something totally different
> I believe - That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by
people who don’t even know you.
> I believe - That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you - you will find the strength to help.
> I believe - That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
> I believe - That the people you care about most in life are taken from
you too soon.
> I believe - That you should send this to all of the people that you
believe in. The happiest people don’t necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.
Never make someone your priority when all you are to them is an option.
And I know; there's something beautiful within my grasp
And I know; I think I'm satisfied, but it won't last
And I know; To lace my boots up and pick my path.
I'll find another rainstorm to fill my glass.

Before I go to bed....
Why does life SUCK so bad? No easy way to say it. No better way to say. Life is just unfair (okay, I guess THAT is a better way to say it).
First my online friend loses her precious baby boy (still born at 35 weeks and 5 days), then we find Matty's body (okay, this doesn't necessarily make life unfair ~ we accepted that he was dead, but held out hope....), then an old friend of mine that I went to school with lost her little boy (Nicci and I were pregnant at the same time ~ her with Brent and me with Summer) and now tonight I find out that not only does my Buppie have cancer of the esophagus (sp?), but also has it in his liver.
It's going to be one hell of a battle. Buppie doesn't take anything lying down (not that Bobo would ever let him...she is one tough cookie!), but it is still something I wish he didn't even have to face.
So, in other news....I know it is like 6 months away, but I've started planning Jason's first birthday party. We are going to be doing a rubber duck theme and I'm hoping to be able to rent out the Y pool and hopefully they will let me float all kinds of rubber ducks in the pool.....cute stuff. As soon as I reserve the pool, I'm going to be starting on invites because I am hand-making them all myself and it's going to take a while.
Not much else going on around here. I think that is all for today.
Oh, last week I lost 1.4 pounds which put me .2 away from my 10% goal! Hopefully tomorrow I will get to my goal!

"I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing..."
This song by Aerosmith seems very fitting to me right now for some reasons..I've just been in one of those moods lately. I'm very grateful for everything that I have and I want to make sure that I don't miss anything...I love spending time with my kids and watching them grow...I'm loving life in general. I mean, I have stresses, don't get me wrong, but for the most part, my life is pretty darn good right now.
I went and worked out at the gym today. I did my mile on the treadmill in about 17:10, which I thought was pretty good. That time keeps getting smaller and smaller...Then I did some weight training...I even used the free weights! Not too bad if I do say so myself...so, as a reward, I went tanning. You can tell that I am getting darker.
Then we went to the parent and me swim again at the Y. Jason didn't have quite as much fun, but I think that might have been because he missed his morning nap because I was at the gym (Jason and I like to snuggle and take naps together..)
Hmmm..then it was spaghetti for dinner and now all the kids are in bed....which is where I should be headed soon, but I probably won't because I plan to sleep in come morning time...
Love and FAITH to all...

Few Things..
So, my Aunt Jenny "encouraged" everyone who scrapbooks to show their first pages. Well, my first real pages were when I did my Wedding Album, so here are a few of them:

^This is the invitation and thank you cards that were used at my Bridal Shower^

^This is a page of me opening gifts. The photos are matted on the wrapping paper that my Step-Mother Vicki wrapped my gift in....^

^ This is a page I did for my father and I...since I will forever and always be a Daddy's Girl...^
So, in other news, I had weigh in today...I lost another 1.6 pounds, which brings my total weight loss to 16.4 pounds!! Woot! Another 1.6 pounds and I will be at my 10% goal! I will have lost 18 pounds at that point...That seems amazing! I can't wait.
Ummm..random picture time:

I think this picture makes me look odd... *Giggle*

This is my big boy sitting in the big boy part of the stroller (without the infant carseat). He's a handsome boy.
So, I missed the gym today because I just didn't have time, but Kim and I will be going tomorrow and then we will be going to the Y (Pat, Jason and I) with Earle, Marcell and Trinity. It should be a good time.
Ambitiously,
Liz

Blah
Not doing much tonight. Just sitting here watching Pat play XBOX. I have weigh in tomorrow and I'm hoping that I did well, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much...
My gratitude entry for the day:

My healthy, growing boy...who all ready needs a new carseat...lol...
You know summer is coming when you get the summer camp directory in the mail...Yay!! Michael will qualify for Camp Bangor which gives him $400 in scholarship money to use at camps. He has chosen to go to a Canine Training Camp where he will learn to train dog to become service and therapy dogs (He REALLY wanted to do this one...even over Space Camp...) and he has chosen to do a Bowling Camp. He plays baseball in the spring and will be doing swimming lessons as well this summer. And of course, Summer will do swimming lessons again...I can't wait for summertime!!
